Black CBS Anchor Gushes Over ‘Coonman’ Northam Refusing To Resign Over Blackface

‘I marvel that you’re still standing,' says Gayle King

In the latest example of liberal bias in the media, CBS gave a softball interview to embattled Democrat Governor of Virginia Ralph Northam over his refusal to resign over a racist yearbook photo featuring two men in blackface and a KKK robe.

In Sunday’s CBS “This Morning,” anchor Gayle King, a black woman, first expressed her sympathy for Northam – whose college nickname was revealed to be “Coonman” – before asking him how he’d like to start the interview.

“I know this has been a very difficult week for you in the state of Virginia, so where would you like to begin?” King asked Northam.

“It has been a difficult weekend,” Northam complained, before going on to refer to slaves as “indentured servants from Africa.”

“Also known as slavery,” King corrected him.

But King then gushed over Northam’s refusal to step down, confessing she was “marveled” by his refusal to step down.

“I marvel that you’re still standing,” she told him, “when so many people have said ‘you gotta go and you gotta go now.’”

“I’m thinking either he’s got a lot of confidence, or he’s just a little crazy.”

Why wouldn’t he be confident when the corporate establishment media has been in damage control and running cover for him since the scandal broke?

Compare this to the recent NBC interview with Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann, who simply stood his ground in the face of leftist intimidation, and decide for yourself if the media is fair, objective, and unbiased.
