A 49-page indictment against ex-President Donald Trump was unsealed on Friday, detailing 38 counts including seven total criminal charges.
Trump is being charged with “willful retention of national defense information, corruptly concealing documents, conspiracy to obstruct justice, and making false statements.”
The UN-connected prosecutor behind the indictment, Special Counsel Jack Smith, is set to hold a press conference at 3 pm ET.
According to several media outlets and attorneys, Trump faces up to 100 years in prison if found guilty on all counts.
