Owners of a New Jersey gym say they have racked up over $1.2 million in fines after months of defying medical tyranny imposed by the government on residents and businesses.
Atilis Gym in Ballmawr, N.J., has become a symbol of resistance against state power being flexed over small businesses during the supposed coronavirus crisis.
In a recent video, co-owner Ian Smith revealed the extent of the persecution he and his partner, Frank Trumbetti, have faced since brazenly ignoring shutdown orders and mask mandates for more than six months.

“We have over $1 million in fines,” Smith explained during a flashcard presentation filmed in the middle of his fitness center. “We have had our business license stripped. We have had our doors locked and barricaded. We have been arrested and have over 60 citations.”
“Today we will pass 84,000 visits to our facility. We don’t mandate masks. We never will. Gov. Murphy will see this video and fine us $15,000. But… free men don’t ask permission or for forgiveness.”
“No science. No shutdown,” Smith concluded, as a voice off-camera could be heard saying, “F**k you, Murphy.”
The video has already racked up over 10 million views after being posted by various users across multiple platforms.
Smith told Fox News the fines had already topped $1.2 million by last week.
“What’s happening to the middle class and small businesses in America is nothing short of a complete tragedy,” Smith said. “I would go so far as to call it criminal.”
“You are putting people out of business for good. You are making them reliant on big government. You are taking away their civil liberties under the guise of pretending like you care about public health.”
A GoFundMe has been established by Atilis Gym members to help with operating costs and legal fees.
