A teenager who underwent sex reassignment surgery, known to the left as “gender-affirming care,” gave harrowing testimony describing the horrible regret she experienced after her procedure, and warned other youngsters not to make the same mistake.

On Tuesday, Chloe Cole, 18, discussed her story during a press conference held outside the US Capitol by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) raising awareness for her “Protect Children’s Innocence Act,” which seeks to prohibit childhood genital mutilation.

“Over the past decade there has been as high as a 4000 percent increase in children being referred to so-called gender clinics across the United States,” Cole stated. “I was one of these children.”

“I transitioned from the age of 12 to 18, when I realized it was all a lie.”

“How did we get to the point where nearly every pediatric institution in the country considers it best practice to remove the healthy breast tissue of children while administering drugs typically used to chemically castrate high-risk sex offenders?” Cole asked.

“Raising these important questions is not bigoted — and the refusal of activists to give straightforward answers should be seen as a major red flag.”

Cole went on to explain she told her parents she was a boy at age 12, and was put on testosterone therapy and puberty blockers, then began to hate her breasts after a sexual assault by a male student at school and underwent a double-mastectomy at 15, “the kind that breast cancer patients get.”

“At 16, I finally realized what happened to me and that I had made a huge mistake. I realized the beauty of motherhood was stolen from me by medical professionals who my family entrusted me to.”

Rep. Greene introduced her Protect Children’s Innocence Act last month, with the goal to protect minors across the nation from gender reassignment surgeries.

“How on earth can this even be happening in America?” Rep. Greene asked at the press conference Tuesday. “It’s hard to understand, but the fact that the medical industry is making billions of dollars on these genital mutilation surgeries on kids is absolutely horrific. These are the things that nightmares are made of.”
