During a campaign event in Philadelphia on Tuesday, Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden called his granddaughter by his dead son’s name and then called her by his other granddaughter’s name.
“This is my son Beau Biden, who a lot of you helped elect to the Senate in Delaware,” Joe incorrectly stated.
In reality, Beau Biden served as Delaware Attorney General from 2007 to 2015 when he died of brain cancer.
In addition, it’s not clear how Pennsylvanians would have helped elect Beau to Delaware Attorney General.
“This is my granddaughter Natalie,” Biden said after the Beau gaffe.
However, he actually had his hand around his granddaughter Finnegan’s shoulder.
“No wait, I’ve got the wrong one,” he said, switching out Finnegan for Natalie. “This is Natalie, this is Beau’s daughter.”
“And then, Hunter’s number two, who goes to school here in Philly, this is my granddaughter Finnegan Biden,” he concluded.
This senile old man could hypothetically become the leader of the free world within hours.
