Former First Lady Michelle Obama was panned on social media after she incorporated the woke term “womxn” in a call to action on Roe v. Wade.

On Saturday, Obama posted an image slideshow to Instagram telling leftists concerned about abortion rights to hit the ballot box.

“State lawmakers will have the power to strip womxn of the right to make decisions about their bodies and their healthcare,” Obama declared in one slide.

“The term ‘womxn’ is intended to be inclusive of transgender and non-binary people who identify as women, but critics say using the phrase erases the experience of cisgender women,” explains the Daily Mail.

The former first lady’s PR team must have later thought better of the term’s use, because the slide’s been deleted from the post’s image carousel.

Unfortunately the damage had already been done, and many called out Obama for pandering to the far left.

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) accused Obama of “erasing women right before our eyes!”

“Democrats, don’t expect the Obamas to save you from weird woke terminology,” wrote one Twitter user.

“Just asking a practical question here, how does one pronounce ‘womxn’?” another person asked.

Fox News and Fox Business also took Obama to the woodshed for her use of the word.

Obama’s comment continued to haunt her as the term “Michael Obama” trended on Twitter Tuesday, with commenters spreading the conspiracy theory that Michelle Obama (AKA Big Mike) may be transgender.

Maybe the former First Lady will think twice next time before mindlessly promoting woke, made-up terminology.
