Four huge groups of illegal aliens were caught entering one Texas county last week, according to authorities.

Rio Grande Valley (RGV) Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 700 migrants in four mobs that illegally entered Starr County, which lies on the Texas-Mexico border.

“Rio Grande City Station agents encountered four large groups totaling 685 noncitizens in Starr County over the past week. The groups consisted of 424 single adults, 190 family members, and 71 unaccompanied children,” Customs and Border Protection explained in a press release on Friday.

“The migrants are from Central and South America, Asia, and Caribbean.”

RGV Chief Patrol Agent Brian Hastings shared photos of the migrants on social media, along with snaps from other smuggling busts that took place during the week.

“Over the past week, USBP agents encountered 4 large groups totaling 685 migrants in Starr County, more than half were single adults,” Agent Hastings wrote.

“Additionally, 3 human smuggling attempts were thwarted by RGV agents and local law enforcement partners.”

At least 20 more apprehensions were made during the trio of busts mentioned by Hastings, all of which involved dangerous vehicle pursuits.

Border authorities recorded more than 245,300 ‘encounters’ in the Rio Grande Valley Sector during the first six months of Fiscal Year 2022, an increase of 53% over the same period the previous year.
