Video that’s going viral shows a police officer approaching a man at his home for not wearing a mask at a grocery store earlier that day.

In the video, a police officer exits his vehicle and tells the man recording that he ran his tag because he wasn’t wearing a mask at a supermarket earlier.

“Did I break the law?” the man asked.

“No sir,” the officer replied.

“Then why are you here?”

The officer said that he showed up because of “what was done in the store with the mask. That’s all.”

“I wanna know why my tag was run,” the man said. “Did I break the law?”

“We’re trying to figure that out,” the officer said.

The man then spoke of an earlier encounter with a police officer, presumably at the grocery store, who told him he had done nothing wrong.

“But you chose to run my tags,” the man said.

“I just wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt, because you said you had a medical exemption,” the officer said.

“It doesn’t matter what I have!” the man exclaimed, noting that an arbitrary COVID mask mandate isn’t an actual law.

“Yes it is,” the officer replied. “The governor has mandated masks.”

Even though plenty of studies have found masks aren’t effective, that isn’t stopping law enforcement from intimidating citizens to follow these arbitrary health orders.

“You’re a Trump supporter. That’s why you’re recording it because you hate Mexicans, just like he does!” says a San Antonio woman who was compelled to confront a maskless couple inside a Walmart.
