A preteen was targeted by a group of young thieves who robbed him at gunpoint in New York City last week, authorities say.
The disturbing incident unfolded in the Bronx at around 8:20 p.m. on December 13, but police just released surveillance footage and images in hopes of obtaining more information.
The 12-year-old victim was standing outside of a deli on West 167th Street when three suspects surrounded him.
“One of the suspects pulled out a gun while the other two took the boy’s backpack and sweatshirt,” Pix11 reports, citing NYPD sources.
The “baby-faced trio” then fled the scene on foot, according to the New York Post.
No suspects have been identified or apprehended, according to the latest available updates at the time of this writing.
