A brazen, broad-daylight robbery in an exclusive Connecticut enclave was thwarted when a Good Samaritan intervened, according to authorities.

The shocking incident unfolded at around 4:30 p.m. on Monday in Greenwich, one of the wealthiest towns in the country.

A woman had just exited an electronics store on Greenwich Avenue when she was accosted by two suspects who attempted to rip newly-purchased items from her hands.

The victim and a family member fought the suspects off and a bystander tackled one of them before they escaped.

Video of the attack was shared on social media.

“A good samaritan also came to their aid and assisted with fending off the 2 suspects,” Greenwich Police explained in a statement.

“The two suspects gave up and were last observed running south on Greenwich Avenue and entered a silver sedan on Grigg Street. The female suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.”

Interestingly, local media opted to leave out key details from the description of the suspects provided by police.

“The subjects were described as two black males, tall and thin, under 30 years of age,” Greenwich Police wrote on Facebook.

“One was wearing dark clothing and the other was wearing dark pants and a pink hooded sweatshirt.”

It is unclear if any arrests have been made at the time of this writing.

The revolution will not be televised.
