A 67-year-old man is recovering from injuries suffered when he was brutally beaten and robbed on a sidewalk in New York City this month, according to reports.
The horrifying incident unfolded in the Bronx at around 2:30 a.m. on August 15, but authorities just released surveillance footage in hopes of obtaining more information about the suspects.

The victim is seen being slammed to the ground by two suspects with wraps around their heads and faces.
Another suspect joins in the group attack, while a fourth runs up and watches from feet away.
The thugs strip the man of his belongings and leave him lying facedown on the sidewalk as they calmly walk away.
After a long pause, the man struggles to pull himself to his knees.
Shockingly, the same suspects return and launch another savage assault, kicking and punching the injured man.
During the second attack, the suspects stole the victim’s cell phone.
The suspects ultimately made off with various valuables along with $300 in cash, police say.
The victim lost a tooth and “also suffered numerous head and facial injuries, and was taken to Lincoln Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition,” the New York Post reports.
The suspects are all believed to be black males in their teens or 20s.
