A man’s car was stolen at gunpoint by “teens” moments after another attempted carjacking in Philadelphia over the weekend, according to reports.
The harrowing string of events unfolded just before 7:30 a.m. on Saturday in South Philly.
“A auto shop employee was waiting on his boss to open up when two armed teens took his car at gunpoint,” reported 6abc’s Beccah Hendrickson.
“Minutes before, there was another attempted carjacking at 700 Pemberton, blocks away.”
Hendrickson shared surveillance footage of the robbery on social media.
Both suspects can be seen wearing hoodies and face masks.
One approaches the driver’s side of the parked vehicle and appears to engage the driver in conversation.
He eventually walks away but quickly returns.
After standing around with hands in pockets, he suddenly pulls a gun and points it at the driver.
The victim steps out of the car under duress as both suspects rifle through his pockets.
One of the suspects jumps into the driver’s seat while the other covers the victim with his firearm before climbing in and speeding away.
Infowars has been reporting on the surge of crime in Philadelphia and many other U.S. cities.
