A live news report in Chicago was interrupted when a suspect allegedly pointed a pistol at the camera while walking down the sidewalk, according to reports.
The harrowing incident unfolded on Wednesday morning in the Windy City.
“Around 7 a.m., at the corner of Clark and Hubbard, while our reporter was in the middle of a live report about Chicago gun violence, a man walked up and pointed what appeared to be a firearm at our crew,” Fox 32 reports.
In the video, the suspect appears to exit a coffee shop with beverages in hand.
Shortly afterwards, as reporter Joanie Lum films a segment for Good Day Chicago near the business, the same man walks behind her and points an object that looks like a gun directly at the camera before skipping away.
Chicago police say they are trying to locate the suspect, who could be charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.
