Southwest Airlines CEO Gary Kelly insisted that he never supported COVID vaccine mandates, but his company is doing so to comply with Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate proclamation.

“I’ve never been in favor of corporations imposing that kind of a mandate. I’m not in favor of that. Never have been,” Kelly said in an interview on CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street” on Tuesday.

“But the executive order from President Biden mandates that all federal employees and then all federal contractors, which covers all the major airlines, have to have a [vaccine] mandate…in place by Dec. 8, so we’re working through that.”

Kelly’s remarks come amid reports that pilots and other airline employees are walking out in protest of the vaccine mandate, which has resulted in thousands of flight cancellations over the weekend.

But Southwest and Kelly himself pushed back on those reports, blaming the cancellations on “disruptive weather,” “air traffic control issues,” and “absenteeism.”

It’s worth noting that Joe Biden never actually issued an executive order directing the Department of Labor to mandate the COVID injection for companies with over 100 employees, nor has Congress voted such an edict into federal law.

On the contrary, Biden’s vaccine mandate was nothing but a press release last month where he claimed the mandates “are not about freedom” and that his “patience is wearing thin.”

Strangely, there is no executive order in the Federal Register ordering vaccine mandates for over 100 employees.

Notably, Kelly is a contributor for the World Economic Forum, the globalist organization pushing The Great Reset agenda to create rolling lockdowns, energy crises and food shortages to deindustrialize the West and introduce a global currency tied to a dystopian World ID and social credit score.

Southwest Airlines employees have been ordered to submit proof of vaccination by November 24.
