Michigan State University has announced the launch of a new website created for “undocumented students.”

The “Undocumented Student Resource” center, which is operated by the Office for Inclusion and Intercultural Initiatives, provides answers to a variety of frequently asked questions and addresses the unique concerns of current or prospective students with dubious immigration status.

“Michigan State University is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all,” the school explains on the site. “That includes our commitment to admit and support students from all backgrounds, adhering to our values of being a campus that is diverse, equitable and free from discrimination.”

“We are aware undocumented students, refugees and recipients of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, as well as students, staff and faculty with mixed-immigration status often face barriers and challenges as they navigate campus policies requiring support services to address their unique needs. To assist, multiple units across campus are working together to increase institutional support for these students as well as provide training and advising related to admissions, financial aid, and residency reclassification.”

MSU asserts school officials do everything possible to effectively shield ‘undocumented’ students from interference by federal immigration authorities, adding that campus police “operates with the premise that it is the responsibility of the federal government to enforce federal immigration law, not local police departments.”

While ‘undocumented’ students are not eligible for federal student aid, the site invites them to seek state financial aid, private scholarships, and merit scholarships offered by the school.

“I am sickened to my stomach that my money is going to the education of those who broke the law,” student and conservative activist Sam Larey told The Morning Watch, which initially broke the story.

“By aiding undocumented aliens, we spit in the face of immigrants who followed our laws,” Larey said.

The acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has penned an op-ed staunchly defending the agency’s mission and ripping into leftist protesters pushing for lawlessness and open borders.

Matthew Albence says he is “appalled and perplexed” by propaganda designed to cripple and demoralize law enforcement efforts, both across the United States and in Portland, Maine, where recent demonstrations against ICE took place.

“These ignorant, inflammatory efforts to block enforcement of this nation’s criminal statutes by hardworking, patriotic Americans who live in the same communities they serve, stand only to put these communities – and the entire city of Portland – at risk,” Albence writes. “These protesters are advocating for dangerous criminals to roam our streets with impunity.”

“In addition to the Jan. 3 protests in downtown Portland, a mock fence cage was displayed with a sign urging ‘No kids in cages.’ This is a gross mischaracterization of our agency’s standards of care at well-run detention facilities nationwide, especially family facilities.”

Albence points out many ICE agents are military veterans who work closely with police to target criminals who commit heinous crimes, including child traffickers operating in Maine and the surrounding region.

“This inaccurate, baseless rhetoric further ignores the agency’s efforts in New England, including the rescue of 70 child exploitation victims, since 2017,” Albence asserts.

“These are the real kids in cages, victimized by heartless criminals who force them into prostitution and servitude, tragically leaving them with permanent mental and physical scars. And these kids are in addition to the 25 trafficking victims Homeland Security Investigations Portland rescued, conducting these investigations from office settings just like the one targeted in the misguided protests.”

Albence touted ICE’s record number of arrests in 2019, revealing the agency removed over 150,000 criminal aliens from the U.S., including 8,000 gang members.

Illegal Mexican migrants are being deported deep into their homeland under new protocols implemented by the Trump administration and welcomed by the Mexican government, according to reports.

The Department of Homeland Security aims to fly at least 250 migrants into the interior of Mexico on a weekly basis.

“The plan marks a departure from past practice of releasing migrants at the border,” Fox News reports. “The idea would be to make it harder for repeat offenders to try and cross the border again if they are returned hundreds of miles away. Officials say returning people closer to their hometowns is better for them as well, and allows them to receive services from the Mexican government.”

Deportation flights from Tucson, Arizona, to Guadalajara began in December and are expected to increase by the end of January.

“This is another example of the Trump Administration working with the government of Mexico to address the ongoing border security crisis,” said DHS spokeswoman Heather Swift.

“Mexico has been a great partner in stopping illegal migration before they reach our border and in standing up the Migrant Protection Protocol which has allowed us to provide court dates to more than 55,000 individuals.”

Border apprehensions have dropped for seven consecutive months, after reaching a crescendo in May of 2019, when over 144,000 migrants attempted to cross the U.S. border, on record.

Key Trump admin programs, such as ‘Remain in Mexico’ (Migrant Protection Protocols), have contributed to the steep decline in border crossings.

A female migrant who obtained a U.S. visa under dubious circumstances has pleaded guilty to running a scam in which she helped illegal aliens exploit the same loophole in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, according to reports.

Yuridia Hernandez Linares, 36, pleaded guilty to one count of theft-by-swindle, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman announced on Friday.

“According to the criminal complaint, Hernandez Linares would cut the individuals with a box cutter, to make it appear there was an armed robbery, and then they would report the incident to police. U Visas — which provide temporary protection from deportation — are considered for victims who cooperate with police or prosecutors,” CBS Minnesota reports.

Linares is believed to have reported three armed robberies which never occurred, including one in which she was supposedly the victim, according to local police.

“Over the past few months, and dating back to 2015, our Department has been investigating three armed robbery incidents reported to have occurred in Eden Prairie,” Eden Prairie Police Chief Greg Weber announced in November. “After making an arrest, Eden Prairie Police turned the investigation over to the Hennepin County Attorney, who filed criminal charges Friday, Nov. 15.”

“With the announcement of these charges, I want the Eden Prairie community to know the armed robberies reported to have taken place along Anderson Lakes Parkway on Oct. 25, 2015, Aug. 20, 2019, and Aug. 30, 2019, did not occur.”

In the supposed robbery on Oct. 25, 2015, Linares and a friend reportedly claimed they had been robbed at knifepoint by two black males.

Approximately five months later, Eden Prairie police received a request to sign off on a U visa for Linares.

“During the investigation, police identified Linares as an associate of the individuals in the Aug. 20 incident, and noted that Linares reported a similar incident in October 2015,” CBS Minnesota reported in November. “Back then, Linares and her friend reported that their purses were stolen and that they had been cut with knives.”

“In March 2016, Eden Prairie police received a letter requesting a U visa for Linares, which the police chief signed. A U visa can be issued to cooperating crime victims, who are undocumented. ”

Linares reportedly charged her accomplices, all illegal aliens, $5,000 to organize the scheme.

She faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and/or a fine of up to $20,000.

Six men believed to be illegal aliens from Guatemala were arrested under suspicion of trafficking and sexually-assaulting a minor in Wisconsin, according to the Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

Police were alerted after a juvenile female called 911 on Nov. 28 and said she had escaped from a residence in Manchester, Wisconsin, “where she was being sex trafficked,” police explained in a statement to local media.

“Police executed a search warrant on Nov. 29 at W2964 County Line Road in Manchester, Wisconsin, where they seized multiple items of evidence believed to be connected to the assault of the juvenile. The warrant also led to the arrest of six people who all lived in the home,” Fox 47 reports.

The suspects, all males ranging in age from 28 to 40, are believed to be illegal aliens from Guatemala.

Evis Amabilio Garcia-Rivera, 31, is also suspected of trafficking the young girl.

Investigators discovered pieces of evidence which are “believed to be connected to the sexual assault of the juvenile.”

The men have not yet been criminally charged, but all are being held on cash bonds ranging from $20,000 to $50,000, police say.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) is raising concerns about a new law which would enable illegal aliens to obtain driver’s licenses in the state of New York.

The “Driver’s License Access and Privacy Act,” otherwise known as the ‘Green Light Law,’ is set to go into effect on Dec. 14, despite strong opposition from voters and some county clerks in the state.

Attorneys at the DOJ have called into question the constitutionality of the bill, calling aspects of it “legally suspect,” according to the New York Post.

“The United States notes that there is a significant question whether the Act conflicts with federal law,” DOJ lawyers argued in a filing submitted in a federal court in Albany. “The Act’s disclosure restrictions are wide-reaching and appear aimed at frustrating the federal government’s enforcement of the immigration laws.”

“The Act specifically prohibits disclosing records or information to federal immigration authorities—singling out ICE and CBP by name—absent a court order or warrant signed by an Article III judge.”

While the law effectively compels the Department of Motor Vehicles to issue driver’s licenses to foreign nationals illegally present in the U.S., it also restricts “what information can be retained and given out on those applying or holding standard driver’s licenses.”

Some county clerks are mounting a revolt against the law, with Rensselaer County Clerk Frank Merola filing a lawsuit asserting he and fellow clerks could find themselves operating in “direct violation of federal immigration law if they follow the state law.”

Merola says the DOJ’s involvement is a “game changer.”

“I think there’s a lot of flaws in the law and hopefully the judge sees that and we at least stop it before the 14th.”

The Harvard Crimson newspaper has been formally condemned by the university’s student government, which voted to pass a statement denouncing the publication for reaching out to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to obtain an official statement for an article.

The Harvard Undergraduate Council voted 15-13-4 to approve a statement issued in support of Act on a Dream, an open borders activist group which recently held an “Abolish ICE” demonstration on campus.

The Crimson, which reported on the protest, reached out to ICE for comment to include in its coverage — an act of professional journalism which was denounced by Act on a Dream and other activist groups.

“The Undergraduate Council stands in solidarity with the concerns of Act on a Dream, undocumented students, and other marginalized individuals on campus,” the recently-passed statement reads.

“It is necessary for the Undergraduate Council to acknowledge the concerns raised by numerous groups and students on campus over the past few weeks and to recognize the validity of their expressed fear and feelings of unsafety.”

The Harvard Graduate Students Union released a similar statement in support of Act on a Dream.

A petition issued by Act on a Dream and endorsed by other campus groups, such as Harvard College Democrats for Warren, Harvard Radcliffe RAZA, and Harvard Black Men’s Forum demands the Crimson:

1. Apologize for the harm they inflicted on the undocumented community.
2. Critically engage with and change their policies that require calling ICE for comment.
3. Declare their commitment to protecting undocumented students on campus.

Harvard Crimson President Kristine E. Guillaume issued a statement of her own, defending her publication’s pursuit of the “highest standards” of journalistic integrity.

“Fundamental journalistic values obligate The Crimson to allow all subjects of a story a chance to comment,” Guillaume said. “This policy demonstrates a commitment to ensuring that the individuals and institutions we write about have an opportunity to respond to criticisms in order to ensure a fair and unbiased story.”

“We welcome feedback from our readers and from those we cover. In this case, we met with representatives of Act on a Dream to hear their concerns and explain our approach.”

Americans living roughly 75 miles north of the Mexican border are being terrorized by foreign gang members and illegal aliens, according to a resident of Encino, Texas, who says a border wall is needed to protect U.S. citizens.

A woman identified only as “Soila” told NBC affiliate KVEO that “hundreds” of illegal aliens pass through her neighborhood on any given day, while Mexican cartel members threaten her family and friends — and even attempt to invade her property.

“We no longer can go out without a gun; you can’t go for a walk,” Soila said. “My neighbor and his daughter were chased by men with masks. She was riding her 4-wheeler down 281 — they saw her and they jumped the fence and started chasing her.”

“Huge groups — and we’re not talking 10 or 15, we’re talking about 40, 70 — and the last few months it’s getting worse. They really need to go after the coyotes because we have seen so many abandoned families, women with children just left out there. These people are not educated — they don’t know east or west, they don’t know where the sun rises and sets. You ask them, ‘Have you ever seen a map of Texas?’ They don’t even know how big Texas is.”

Soila tells of multiple confrontations between her husband and gang members who use intimidation to silence and control opposition, adding that her neighbors are scared to call Border Patrol due to threats.

“12 young men dressed in black — my husband automatically stops, and they just put a finger to their lips and it’s like, ‘You better not say anything,’” Soila said. “They know what we drive, they know where we live.”

“There was a young man, [my husband] kept telling him to stop right at the gate, but he kept coming. My husband cocked the gun, and right on his left-hand side, 12-15 more pop out. They were trying to get in towards the house.”

Soila says a border wall is desperately needed, and that those who oppose it are foolish or protecting their short-term financial interests.

“Whoever tells you there is no danger out here and we don’t need the wall, they have no idea what they’re talking about,” she said. “They don’t care as long as the businesses keep thriving in McAllen or Brownsville.”

In this exclusive video, border patrol vans are seen pulling up to a Catholic respite center near McAllen, Texas, where a worker then warns that shooting video endangers the illegal aliens in the vans because they could be recognized and extorted by human traffickers or anybody they “borrowed money from.”
