A previously-deported illegal alien was arrested in Louisiana and charged with 100 counts of possession of child pornography, one count of production of child pornography, and one count of sexual battery of a juvenile under the age of 13.

Miguel Martinez, 44, had been deported in 2005 and is a registered sex offender in the sanctuary state of California, according a press release issued by the Louisiana Department of Justice.

“Internet crimes against children continuously inflict damage,” said Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry. “Every time one of these videos or images is viewed, the child is re-victimized.”

Homeland Security has reportedly placed a detainer on Martinez and it is expected he will face additional charges pending further investigation.

AG Landry used occasion to issue a distress signal to Washington and voice his support for the building of a wall on the Southern border.

“This arrest should serve as a wake-up call to Congress,” Landry said. “By not securing our borders and properly vetting those coming into our Nation, we have seen lives lost and destroyed.”

“Illegal immigration has real-life consequences – countless numbers of needless crime victims, including too many Louisiana families and children. For their sake – I again urge Congress to realize the national emergency we have at our Southern border, support President Trump, build the wall, and help us make our communities safer.”

Americans living roughly 75 miles north of the Mexican border are being terrorized by foreign gang members and illegal aliens, according to a resident of Encino, Texas, who says a border wall is needed to protect U.S. citizens.

A woman identified only as “Soila” told NBC affiliate KVEO that “hundreds” of illegal aliens pass through her neighborhood on any given day, while Mexican cartel members threaten her family and friends — and even attempt to invade her property.

“We no longer can go out without a gun; you can’t go for a walk,” Soila said. “My neighbor and his daughter were chased by men with masks. She was riding her 4-wheeler down 281 — they saw her and they jumped the fence and started chasing her.”

“Huge groups — and we’re not talking 10 or 15, we’re talking about 40, 70 — and the last few months it’s getting worse. They really need to go after the coyotes because we have seen so many abandoned families, women with children just left out there. These people are not educated — they don’t know east or west, they don’t know where the sun rises and sets. You ask them, ‘Have you ever seen a map of Texas?’ They don’t even know how big Texas is.”

Soila tells of multiple confrontations between her husband and gang members who use intimidation to silence and control opposition, adding that her neighbors are scared to call Border Patrol due to threats.

“12 young men dressed in black — my husband automatically stops, and they just put a finger to their lips and it’s like, ‘You better not say anything,’” Soila said. “They know what we drive, they know where we live.”

“There was a young man, [my husband] kept telling him to stop right at the gate, but he kept coming. My husband cocked the gun, and right on his left-hand side, 12-15 more pop out. They were trying to get in towards the house.”

Soila says a border wall is desperately needed, and that those who oppose it are foolish or protecting their short-term financial interests.

“Whoever tells you there is no danger out here and we don’t need the wall, they have no idea what they’re talking about,” she said. “They don’t care as long as the businesses keep thriving in McAllen or Brownsville.”

A “skyrocketing” surge of migrants is arriving at the U.S. border, with many being released into the country due to dysfunctional laws and judicial activism, warns former Border Patrol Chief Mark Morgan.

Morgan, who served as head of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) under President Obama, dismantled “false narratives” being parroted by mainstream media and Democrat officials to downplay the emergency on the southern frontier.

“Right now, we are facing skyrocketing numbers at the border,” Morgan told Tucker Carlson. “The Border Patrol right now is estimating that if the numbers continue at this pace, we could reach 900,000 or a million apprehensions this year.”

“The difference between the 90s and 2000s are the demographics. In the 2000s, we had a million, but 90 percent of them were removed. This year, we could reach a million — the difference is, because they are family units and children, we will release 65 percent of that million. 650,000 will be released into the interior of the United States. That’s the difference. It’s a crisis.”

When asked how many of the 650,000 would likely be deported, Morgan asserted that asylum laws and activist judges have created pathways and loopholes that could shelter virtually all of them “indefinitely.”

“Right now, after you’ve had due process and you’ve had your hearing, now the court just ruled you can appeal that hearing,” Morgan said. “That’s basically a lower court creating amnesty.”

Morgan also touched on an issue raised by DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen during Congressional testimony last week – the “recycling” of child migrants exploited to escort adult illegal aliens into the country.

“The kids are being used as pawns,” Morgan said. “We actually have information that kids are being trafficked across and then sent back to Mexico, and they come back across with another adult so they can all enter into the United States.”

The primary suspect in a fatal shooting on a subway platform in New York City is an illegal alien and MS-13 gang member with a lengthy arrest record, according to new reports.

Ramiro Gutierrez, 26, is reportedly facing charges of second degree murder, gang assault, and criminal possession of a weapon following the death of Abel Mosso, 20, whom authorities believe was a rival gang member.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency has revealed Gutierrez is in the United States illegally, and reports indicate he was free to roam the streets while awaiting trial for prior charges.

The New York Post is now accusing the NYPD of working to hide Gutierrez’s identity from the public ahead of President Trump’s State of the Union address.

“Cops bent over backward Tuesday to shield alleged killer Ramiro Gutierrez from public scrutiny after his arrest for Sunday’s broad-daylight slaying in Queens — going so far as to feed reporters bogus information about his whereabouts and claim ignorance on his illegal status hours before President Trump’s State of the Union Address renewing his request for a border wall,” the Post reports. “Police wouldn’t even say Tuesday whether Gutierrez is in the country legally.

The Post also reports that Gutierrez has been arrested at least nine times since 2010, including four felonies.

An ICE press release from December, 2018, offers a detailed explanation of an MS-13 plot “to commit murder, burglary and other crimes” in which Gutierrez was arrested, indicted, and released on $2,500 bail.

“This was a long-term investigation that not only thwarted a plot to kill an individual – a man trying to remove himself from this vicious street gang – but also resulted in taking would-be killers off our neighborhood streets,” said Queens District Attorney, Richard A. Brown.

Video of Sunday’s midday shooting was shared to social media and depicted multiple men scuffling on the ground outside a subway car before a series of shots were fired.

Former NYPD officer and talk show host John Cardillo reported at the time that Mayor Bill de Blasio’s office was “preventing ICE from confirming” the suspect’s immigration status.

President Donald Trump cited the shooting during his State of the Union address on Tuesday night as an example of violent crime being introduced into the United States via its porous borders.

“The savage gang MS-13 now operates in 20 different American states, and they almost all come through our southern border,” President Trump said. “Just yesterday, an MS-13 gang member was taken into custody for a fatal shooting on a subway platform in New York City. We are removing these gang members by the thousands, but until we secure our border they’re going to keep streaming back in.”
