A man from Connecticut was arrested and charged with attempting to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization as he prepared to embark on a journey to Turkey to join ISIS, officials say.

Ahmad Khalil Elshazly, 22, was apprehended at a marina in Stonington, Conn., while attempting to arrange a sea journey to Turkey, according to charging documents reviewed by the New York Post.

Elshazly had made “numerous statements to others, both in person and through online messaging applications, expressing a desire to travel to Syria and the surrounding area to fight on behalf of ISIS,” a court filing states.

Undercover informants quote Elshazly as saying, “I want to go to the caliphate and fight there. I can kill maybe … like a hundred kaffir [infidels]. I can kill them. A hundred kaffirs.”

“If I do something here how many kaffirs could I kill? One, two, three and then I get shot and I die. It is more benefitting if I go there, I could kill more and will get more faithful rewards.”

Elshazly is reportedly a U.S. citizen, but hoped to see the country “burn.”

“They say, ‘War has started and we are marching to it’ … but all doors are closed, closed. I am talking to myself now, asking myself, ‘How do I get there? How can I help Muslims? How can I do anything?'” Elshazly reportedly told informants.

“God willing! May this country [United States] burn the same way they burned Muslims! May they burn in fire at the end!”

After saving approximately $1,000 to journey to Jordan and Syria to join ISIS, Elshazly reportedly deemed air travel too risky, instead seeking passage on a cargo ship bound for Turkey.

“The National Security Division is committed to identifying and holding accountable those who continue to seek to provide material support to foreign terrorist organizations,” Assistant Attorney General for National Security John Demers announced in a statement.

Elshazly has been ordered held without bail by a federal judge in New Haven and faces up to 20 years in prison.

White males are the “greatest terrorist group” in the United States, according to CNN commentator and attorney Angela Rye.

Rye leveled the claim during a panel discussion with Republican campaign strategist Patrick Griffin and CNN host Chris ‘Fredo’ Cuomo.

“These members of Congress have decided to stand up and speak out for the Democratic caucus — Nancy Pelosi can’t even control these folks. This has nothing to do with the color of their skin, this has everything to do with the fact that they are supporting terrorist organizations in Israel,” Griffin asserted during a debate about the on-going drama swirling around Muslim members of ‘The Squad.’

“This is about the fact that these four women — particularly these two — have taken over the Democratic party, hijacked it from their own speaker.”

Rye seized upon the terms “hijacked” and “these folks” as being somehow racially-charged.

“It’s so interesting that you use that term for the only two Muslim women in Congress — the term you chose to use is ‘hijacking,'” Rye said. “The bottom line is, the greatest terrorist group in this country are white men — white men who think like you. That is the greatest terrorist threat in this country.”

“You know what’s silly? The fact that you’re on here knowing how dangerous times are right now, defending this nonsense, calling people ‘these folks.'”

Rye’s assessments closely align with those made last week on MSNBC by a former top FBI official who implied that all Trump supporters are effectively terrorists.

“This is why it’s so important to look through the lens of radicalization when you look at this president and then apply counter-radicalization techniques,” said C. Frank Figliuzzi, former assistant director of the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division.

“He demands that loyalty, and they are loyal. So if you call Trump followers racist en masse, they simply coalesce around each other and become even more defensive and protective of the leader — just as they would in, say, a terrorist organization.”

Spain is preparing to launch ‘Operation Summer,’ which will see over 44,000 officers deployed to busy tourist zones as jihadists vow attacks and Western governments warn travelers terrorism is likely on the Iberian peninsula.

Over 22,700 National Police officers and another 22,000 officers from the Civil Guard will supplement existing forces as millions of tourists flock to popular destinations around the country, sources at the Ministry of the Interior told Spanish media.

“The Secretary of State for Safety has issued instructions on the summer operation, which will be deployed in the communities of Andalusia, Asturias, Canarias, Cantabria, Valencia, Galicia, Madrid, Murcia and the Balearic Islands from July 1 to August 31, although in the Balearic Islands, it will continue until September 30,” La Voz de Galicia reports.

“In order to counteract possible attacks in tourist areas, the instruction foresees the adoption of special operational plans to neutralize possible threats.”

The rollout comes as reports indicate ISIS-linked jihadi group Al-Muntasir has issued at least three threats targeting Barcelona, including one that read, “Only death.”

Madrid has raised the national terror threat level to 4, only one below maximum.

The U.S. Department of State warns American travelers to “exercise increased caution in Spain due to terrorism.”

“Terrorist groups continue plotting possible attacks in Spain. Terrorists may attack with little or no warning, targeting tourist locations, transportation hubs, markets/shopping malls, local government facilities, hotels, clubs, restaurants, places of worship, parks, major sporting and cultural events, educational institutions, airports, and other public areas.”

The U.K. Foreign Office has issued a similar caution to its citizens, advising that jihadist attacks are “likely.”

“Attacks could be indiscriminate, including in places visited by foreigners. The Spanish authorities take measures to protect visitors, but you should be vigilant and follow the instructions of the local authorities,” the government explains in a travel advisory.

The UK Foreign Office has warned British vacationers to remain vigilant in Western European countries this summer due to a high risk of terrorism and other dangers, including violent protests and migrants.

Germany, France and Belgium have all been identified as countries where terrorist attacks are now “very likely,” with Islamic radicals specifically identified as the “main threat” in Germany.

“Terrorists are very likely to try to carry out attacks in Germany,” the UK government warns. “Attacks could be indiscriminate, including in public places visited by foreigners. The German government has announced that increased security has been put in place as a precaution at public buildings, major events, transport hubs and large public gatherings.”

Similar alerts are in place for Spain and the Netherlands.

France, Spain and Greece have been recognized as places where demonstrations could quickly escalate into dangerous scenarios.

“Protests linked to the yellow vest (gilets jaunes) movement continue across France, generally taking place on Saturdays. A number of previous demonstrations have led to violence and extensive damage to property in Paris and in other cities across the country.”

UK authorities also caution those traveling in the Calais region of France to regard migrants who are known to attempt illegal entry to England and also wreak havoc in the roads in order to climb aboard vehicles bound for Britain.

“There remain some migrants around Calais, who may seek to enter the UK illegally. There have been instances of migrants seeking to slow down traffic on approach roads to ports, including by placing obstacles on the Calais Port approach road.”

France is currently hosting the Women’s World Cup, and will host the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Interestingly, there are virtually no known threats currently recorded for countries such as Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, or Slovakia.

Multiple reports indicate Border Patrol is overwhelmed and migrants that may have serious diseases such as ebola have now crossed over America’s southern border.

A local politician and his family narrowly escaped a suspected arson attack at their home in South Lanarkshire, Scotland.

Councillor Graeme Campbell of the Scottish Conservatives party says his wife’s car was doused with accelerant and set ablaze just feet from where they slept, and if not for a passing neighbor alerting them to the growing fire, the damage could have been far worse or fatal.

“I heard a bang and it woke me up, then my wife heard someone knocking on my door but I told her not to open it,” Campbell told STV News. “I then went down and the person said my car was on fire and the car was just an inferno.”

“The fire had spread to the front of the house. The front of the garage has gone. The next door neighbor’s house has also taken some damage.”

“This was deliberate. This will cost tens of thousands to repair,” Campbell said. “It’s shocking someone is trying to murder us.

“When someone bombs your car you know someone is basically trying to kill you. Another 15 minutes and we would have been dead if we hadn’t got the fire brigade, who were incredible.”

Police and fire authorities are now investigating the blaze, and are viewing it as a deliberate act.

“The incident is being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing,” a Police Scotland spokeswoman said.

Councillor Campbell posted a follow-up video after the fire, professing to know who the culprits are and defiantly warning he will see them brought to justice.

“You think you’re going to scare me? You’re absolutely wrong in that,” Campbell said. “I’m from Belfast and I have seen some terrible things in my life. I will stand up for my constituents no matter what.”

“Be aware that we are coming to get you. You will be caught, and I am looking forward to the day where I see you in court, leaving in handcuffs.”

Conservative and anti-globalist politicians across the U.K. have been targeted by radical leftists in recent weeks, as Nigel Farage, Carl Benjamin, and Tommy Robinson have all been hit with milkshakes on the campaign trail.

In another disturbing escalation of political violence, Islamists swarmed a family-friendly Robinson rally, throwing eggs and bricks at his supporters, which included women and children.

Tommy Robinson has released new footage of his campaign being attacked by gangs of young Muslim men who go throw rocks at women and children.

A former journalist is being held without bail after he announced plans to lure “coward dog” Christians to his home and behead them with a Pakistani sword in retaliation for the Christchurch mosque massacre, an Australian court has heard.

James Michael Waugh, 28, has been charged with threatening to act with intent to cause public harm, using a telecommunications service to menace others and possessing a weapon to be used to kill, according to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

“I have issued threats, along with my name and address, to every coward dog church in Canberra,” Waugh allegedly said in a Facebook Messenger group chat. “If you know someone with balls send them along. I’ve bought a scimitar and intend to cut their heads off in my front yard as a reprisal.”

“I’m going to kill every single one of you dog polytheist c***s,” Waugh also allegedly said in a post on the Canberra House of Prayer Facebook page.

Police say Waugh told them he had purchased the scimitar, measuring over three feet in length, in Pakistan.

A bail request was denied after Waugh told a doctor and prosecutor he intended to continue with his plan if released by going to a “remote central Queensland [location] with his brother” to prepare for a “day of judgement” and violent confrontation with Christians.

“He made it clear he would either engage in battle… making him a martyr, or to make them look bad,” prosecutor Rae-ann Khazma told the court. “He also indicated his use of a scimitar depending on how many Christians turned up and whether they were armed.”

Khazma revealed that Waugh has stated he does not recognize the Australian government as legitimate and that Australian laws do not apply to him.

Waugh’s doctor determined that he does not suffer from any mental health issues.

French police arrested four people suspected of plotting an “extremely violent” attack on security forces, according to the Paris prosecutor’s office.

Three men and a teenage minor had reportedly been working to accumulate weapons for the attack, which would have targeted security personnel.

The minor was already serving a three year probation sentence for attempting to travel to Syria to join ISIS in 2017, and the three men had criminal histories, as well.

“Four people are being held over a plan to carry out an extremely violent terror attack,” Interior Minister Christophe Castaner told reporters. “We had sufficient evidence to lead us to believe that a major attack was being planned.”

France’s domestic intelligence agency, DGSI, says an investigation opened on February 1st led to the apprehensions of “individuals suspected of preparing imminent violent acts, susceptible to target security forces.”

A newly-released study found that Islamists have been responsible for 91 percent of all terrorism-related deaths in Europe since 2000.

“The study, called the Black and White Book of Terrorism in Europe, is a project spearheaded by Spanish MEP and president of the Foundation for Victims of Terrorism, Maité Pagazaurtundua,” reports Paul Joseph Watson. “According to the data gathered, which was reported on by left-leaning French newspaper Le Figaro, 753 people were killed in terror attacks across Europe from 2000 to 2018.”

“91 percent of these victims were killed by Muslim extremists, with just 14 victims being killed by right-wing extremists and 13 by left-wing extremists, as well as one killed by an animal rights extremist.”

Terrorism has been on the rise in France in recent years, with more than 250 people killed since 2015.

An Australian MP was asked if she felt “complicit” in the New Zealand mosque attack due to her anti-mass migration positions during a heated interview on one of the country’s most-watched morning shows.

Sunrise host David Koch launched an aggressive ambush on Queensland MP Pauline Hanson, who heads her own nationalist-populist party, One Nation, asserting that most terror attacks are carried out by “right wing, white supremacists.”

“This terrorist manifesto almost reads like One Nation immigration and Muslim policy,” said Koch. “Do you feel in any way complicit with this atrocity?”

“The anti-Muslim rhetoric that you espouse constantly here, that you did in your maiden speech when you came to Parliament in 2016 — do you understand?”

“David, I feel for these people,” Hanson responded. “I feel for those families and who lost their lives — the same as just across the road from here where you had the Lindt cafe massacre that happened, the terrorist attacks, the ones that have been carried and the 14 that have been foiled.”

“We have problems, but you actually have to discuss it and debate the issues. Why do we have these terrorist attacks in this country? Why is it happening around the world?”

Koch responded by claiming, “Most of the terror attacks are right wing, white supremacists that are egged on by your comments.”

Koch went on to assert that Hanson’s warnings about the Islamization of Australia and Sharia creep could be seen as a “call to arms” by extremists.

“David, have a look at what has happened in England,” Hanson said. “I speak to people who are leaving England now to come out here because they’ve lost their country. England is not the country that they grew up in.”

“Women cannot walk down the streets in Sweden, and in France, the same thing.”

Koch replied, “That’s just tripe.”

Islamic terrorist group al-Shabab has claimed responsibility for an attack on an upscale hotel and office complex in Nairobi, Kenya, that killed at least five and wounded 14 more, according to reports.

Hotel guests and workers at the DusitD2 compound were reportedly gunned down, and explosives were detonated during the attack, which included at least one suicide bombing.

Some reports indicate the death toll may be as high as seven, although authorities have yet to announce any casualty information.

“We can now confirm that this criminal activity commenced at about three o’clock in a coordinated fashion and began at I&M Bank with an explosion that targeted three vehicles in the parking lot,” said Kenyan national police chief Joseph Boinnet.

An al-Shabab spokesman claimed his group had killed 47 people during the siege in a statement to Al Jazeera.

“Our fighters killed 47 enemies inside the complex. The mujahideen are still in control of most parts of the building complex,” he said.

Witnesses shared terrifying accounts from the gruesome scene.

“We were changing our shifts, and that is when I heard a loud blast and people were screaming,” said Enoch Kibet, a cleaner at the complex. “I couldn’t believe I was alive. The blast was so loud and shook the whole complex.”

“If I die I love the Lord and believe I will go to heaven please tell my family I love then I love you Caleb, Mark and Carol,” tweeted Ron Ng’eno, who says he was trapped in a bathroom during the raid.

“It is terrible. What I have seen is terrible,” said Charles Njenga, another witness. “I have seen a human as I ran out and there is what looks like minced meat all over.”

Police say they have regained control of the complex and are mitigating the aftermath.

A similar attack, also carried out by the Somalia-based terrorist group al-Shabab, took place in 2013 at the nearby Nairobi Westgate shopping mall, resulting in at least 67 dead and 200 wounded.

Anyone in Italy found celebrating the deadly attack in Strasbourg, France, will be arrested in an effort to crack down on proponents of radical Islam and terrorism, says Interior Minister Matteo Salvini.

Salvini issued the warning during a visit to Israel as Italian authorities raised counter-terrorism alerts and checks to their highest levels, according to Ansa.

This is a situation for utmost attention from north to south for all radicalized, terrorists and returning extremists,” Salvini said. “We need to identify, search, block, and stop by all means — verify who comes in and who leaves the country. This is not a right but a duty for the defense of the territory and borders.”

Our post police are on the cutting edge and they are scouring the web to look for the infamous people who are celebrating the death of someone else,” he continued, vowing the “immediate arrest of anyone in these hours who is rejoicing online.”

Salvini also tweeted an image of himself praying for the victims of the attack, in which two people were killed and 13 injured.

“A prayer for the victims from Jerusalem, where I am now,” he wrote. “But it is not enough. Total is my commitment, as a man and as a minister, that the terrorists are blocked and eliminated, in Europe and in the world, by any lawful means.”

Suspected terrorist Cherif Chekatt, 29, a French citizen of Moroccan origin, is still on the run at the time of this writing, and authorities say he likely slipped across the open border into Germany, where he also holds a criminal record.

“Despite the gunman being a known extremist, he was able to flee the country by exploiting Europe’s lack of any border controls between France and Germany,” reports Infowars. “While ISIS has not yet claimed last night’s attack in Strasbourg, the group’s supporters were celebrating the incident as soon as it was reported.”
