Mexican authorities say they recovered bodies of three migrants from the Rio Grande and rescued three more last week.

The National Institute of Migration (INM) announced the gruesome discovery on Sunday.

“…[T]hree bodies of men floating in the river were located, two of them did not have identification and one carried documentation from Nicaragua,” the INM revealed in a press release on Sunday.

“The Coahuila State Attorney General’s Office was informed so that it could take notice of these events.”

Interestingly, the INM expressed condolences for the lives lost, but emphasized a “commitment to maintain safe, orderly and regular migration in order to avoid the risks that irregular transit entails.”

On Saturday, three other migrants were rescued by Mexican agents during a failed attempt to cross the dangerous river.

They were identified as an adult woman, an 8-year-old boy, and a 2-year-old girl, all from Honduras. It is unclear if any of them were related.

They were brought aboard an airboat and taken to a migrant shelter in the region.

Illegal crossings of the Rio Grande have frequently proven fatal for migrants, as Infowars has reported.

If we are unwilling to come together and lawfully police our elected leaders then we don’t deserve freedom.
