A gun-toting suspect was scared out of a car dealership by an armed employee in Texas, authorities say.

The harrowing incident took place on March 21 in Houston, but police just released footage and information about the thwarted potential crime last week.

Two male suspects pulled into the dealership on Gulf Freeway in a Mercedes at around 5:15 p.m.

One of the men exited the vehicle and asked an employee to test drive a car.

“The complainant then walked into the office with the male following. The complainant stated that as sat on his chair, he noticed the male pulling his shirt up and grabbing a gun,” Houston Police explained.

“The complainant then grabbed his gun, which the suspect saw, and stated ‘No!’ to the complainant.”

The suspect appears to laugh before exiting the business in defeat and fleeing on foot.

The driver of the Mercedes also fled the scene.

Houston Police describe the suspects as follows: Black male, 28 to 40 years old, 5’7 to 5’9, 250 pounds, gray hoodie and black pants. Suspect #2 (driver): Black male
