Video of a Texas mother executing an incredible tackle on a fleeing ‘peeping Tom’ has gone viral after dash cam footage was made public by police.
Phyllis Pena threw her body in harm’s way as young man attempted to run from her property in Lake Jackson on Jan. 31.
Pena says she arrived home from the store at approximately 7 a.m. and caught Zane Hawkins, 19, peering into her 15-year-old daughter’s bedroom.
As officers arrived on the scene, Hawkins reportedly sprinted into the road, where he was intercepted by Pena.

“First instinct was just to make sure he didn’t go any further,” Pena said.
“The cop fist-bumped me and he was like, ‘Hey, so I heard the Texans are looking for a new linebacker.’”
Pena held the suspect on the ground as officers rushed in to apprehend him.
Hawkins was charged with possession of a controlled substance, evading arrest, and resisting arrest, Lake Jackson Police said in a statement.
