In an epic exchange, GOP Missouri Senator Josh Hawley on Tuesday slammed Biden Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for assisting with and incentivizing illegal entry into the U.S.

Hawley first rhetorically asked Mayorkas if his department’s goal was to increase or limit the number of people coming across America’s southern border.

After confirming the administration is at least claiming to try and slow down the nonstop flow of illegals into the country, Hawley questioned why Mayorkas rolled out a cell phone app where migrants can schedule appointments to illegally enter the U.S. often without being interviewed beforehand.

“It’s like a concierge service for illegal immigrants,” the senator said.

Quoting the typically liberal Texas Monthly magazine, Hawley told Mayorkas, “At no point does the app ask users ‘Are you seeking asylum?’ Those arriving for the CBP One appointments are given no interviews and asked no questions about vulnerabilities they listed in the app or about why they’re seeking asylum in the U.S.—they’re simply released into the country on official parole.”

The GOP politician continued, “So, rather than building a wall, Mr. Secretary, you have built Ticketmaster for illegal immigrants.”

Mayorkas later failed to reveal the taxpayer cost of the app and stumbled through several other questions without fully answering.
