CNN reporter Oliver Darcy is perplexed the president would come to the defense of free speech.
“Trump comes to the defense of InfoWars?” he tweeted Saturday.

Darcy has been obsessively following Infowars as it relates to Big Tech’s censorship campaign against us, having lobbied Facebook to de-platform Alex Jones, as well as poring through our tweets in hopes of finding anything that could be interpreted as violating Twitter’s terms of service.
In fact, he seems to be keeping tabs on just about everything we do…nothing creepy about that.
A CNN review of InfoWars’ and Jones’ Twitter accounts found promotion of Sandy Hook / Parkland conspiracies, attacks on individuals based on their gender identity & religion, targeted harassment, videos glorifying violence, and more cc: @jack https://t.co/WpEZsLjr0i

President Trump admonished Big Tech on Saturday over their censoring of Infowars, saying they’ve been “closing down the opinions of many people” which “cannot be allowed to happen.”
