A group of people was caught ‘surfing’ on top of subway cars in New York City last week, according to reports.

The harrowing stunt unfolded on Friday afternoon on the Williamsburg Bridge in the Big Apple.

At least eight people could be seen riding atop a J train traveling over the East River from the Lower East Side of Manhattan into Brooklyn.

Multiple videos of the dangerous escapade were shared on social media.

“These people just came over the Williamsburg bridge on top of the train,” wrote Twitter user Goosey Mane.

The daredevils could be seen running along the tops of subway cars and also climbing between them.

NYPD says they are aware of the videos and that suspects could face charges of trespassing and reckless endangerment if caught.

“We don’t recommend that individuals ride on top of the subway train,” a sergeant told the New York Post.

Multiple people have died attempting similar feats in the city in recent years, including a 32-year-old man who was crushed after falling off a J train near the same bridge in 2021.
