Employees at a fast food joint in Memphis, Tennessee, were sent running for cover when a woman furious about slow service opened fire on them, police say.
The incident unfolded at a Burger King on Tuesday, March 30.
Officers arriving at the business were informed a female customer “got angry regarding the wait time to be served” and approached the drive-thru window on foot after exiting the passenger side of a vehicle.
“A verbal altercation ensued between the female patron and the workers. Video surveillance shows the suspect retrieve a black handgun from the vehicle, extend her upper body through the drive-thru window, and fire several shots at the Burger King workers,” Memphis Police explained in a statement.

Workers managed to escape from the building via a rear exit and no one was injured.
The woman and a male driver fled the scene.
Memphis Police are offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest of the suspect.
